Hmm, well, daimyo are nobles. Lords, of sorts, who control the country, to whom shinobi must answer. Samurai are...well, I suppose you can say, they were our predecessors. Long ago, there were many more samurai, but these days, not so much. They're similar to shinobi, but they have their own structure and rules, ways of fighting, and traditions. Unlike shinobi, they don't take on as many contracts, and tend to only fight for their country.
