[action; Levi woke up this morning with the full force of a cold which is likely the direct result of being dragged into a fountain of cold water thanks to Hange when she first arrived (or so he assumes). He's hacking up a lung and generally crankier than usual and staying in bed for the next two days drinking tea and sleeping and probably not going to be the most pleasant person to interact with, so approach at your own risk.]

If you'd like some help with contacting the other spirits, you could join the magic classes as well. You don't need to follow any other classes if you don't want to.

[Petra will make Captain as much tea as he wants, regardless of whether or not he's sick.]

I'll go look things up in the library and see what I can find about building greenhouses. There has to be at least something there that can help.

Building isn't really my thing. I can nail boards together and that's about it. That's why I said Haru can take care of that part.

[Farlan doesn't sound too sure about this, but he doesn't disagree with Levi's orders, even if he grumbles about them.]

You know, just because you're sick of staying in bed, that doesn't mean you should stop...

[He puts an arm around him to support him.]

[although he's shivering slightly, bare feet on a cold floor. Levi ends up wrapping an arm around Farlan in return, clinging slightly to him for warmth and support as they make their way to the kitchen.

The pot is still hot enough that the water doesn't need to be boiled again. Levi finds a tea strainer for the tea pot (might as well make a whole one instead of a cup each time) and sets it in before spooning some of the dried leaves into it.]

Pour the water in...then let it sit for a few minutes and throw the leaves out.

[Levi stays in written form, because he doesn't like using voice or video if he can avoid it, and because he sounds terrible from his illness.]

I'll take any help I can get with this.

[he wants a lot of tea right now, Petra. He also can't help talking, though sometimes just breathing seems to send him into fits of coughing. Levi takes a few more sips of the tea before putting it down and laying back. He moves between too warm and too cold. Right now, he feels quite warm, perspiration starting to stick to his skin.]

I don't think I'd do well in classes, but thanks. The rest of you should attend anyway.

[Levi doesn't like being around a lot of strangers...and he's not the most social person. Besides, school is a thing kids do, in his mind (well, young people at least). He's...way past that.]

[She nods, taking a careful look at him before taking the dishes away with her into the kitchen. The water will take time to boil, and if she's going to make soup, she'll need to at least take inventory of what they had in the pantry. She's not gone for long, though, returning with a fresh glass of water, a small bowl, and a washcloth in hand. She sets the glass and bowl on the nightstand before sitting beside him on the bed, dipping the cloth in the bowl of water and wringing it out before dabbing his forehead with the damp cloth.]

I started the kettle, it'll be ready soon. I'll start the soup soon, too.

Maybe you should go see some of the healers? We have people with healing magic, so they're pretty handy.

[Erica switches back to writing as soon as she's done.]

You really are a very modest person. To not want to make anyone sick, even if they want to come and see you, it's a kind act no matter how you look at it!

You could say that. The two of us are from the same world.

[Never mind that they initially started out on opposite sides. That was a long time ago, and things have changed a lot since then.]

It's nice to meet you, Levi. Do you like gardening? You could probably ask at the flower shop if you wanted to learn more about what kinds of plants grow best here.

[Because greenhouses are for gardening, right?]

I know you can, but maybe you shouldn't.

[But he sighs, because, obviously, Levi is stubborn and is coming along with him. Of course. He helps to hold him up as they go.]

Oh, is that all? That's not that hard, I just didn't know about taking the leaves out. You could have told me that from your bed, Levi.

[He has to shake his head at him.]

While you're here, though, we should have you breathe in some steam. That'll be good for you. I can boil some more water....
