[ Levi is drowning in swords and tea, apparently, but there are worse things to be associated with. The small sword is one he actually starts carrying regularly, even if there isn't much actual danger to be had most days, the fact that things have been...relatively peaceful lately makes him that much more anxious that something especially bad is going to drop at any moment.
