[ The conversation isn't fully over, no, but Levi isn't sure if he's ready for this discussion. He can deal with sudden shifts easily enough, but usually that's in combat, where there's more to distract and delay the need to process it all at once. Thinking quickly is his strength, rather than long term. What all can he do, anyway? Eren's now already experienced the thing they'd wanted to keep him from. Now, it's just learning how that will make everything different, how to live with the change.

With whatever Eren decides to do.

But with Eren at least not being wholly unresponsive to him, Levi stubbornly keeps with the plans he's gone through the trouble of preparing for today. Eren probably won't eat, but the pastries are there anyway, and after a minute or so Levi comes back to the table with two mugs in hand. One is something that Eren has seen him use for himself many times before, but the other is new.

It's a handmade stoneware mug that's a good size to hold in both hands. The top three-quarters of it have been dipped in a dark blue glaze, into which some distinct images have been carved - wings, reminiscent of the Wings of Freedom, on one side, and the form of a trotting wolf beneath a crescent moon on the other. Star-shapes dot the space in between at random, all of it carved out in soft white. The handle and top rim are a gray, and on the curve of the handle, Eren's name is painted in a matching blue.

Levi sets it in front of him, full of the tea he seems to prefer and prepared the way he likes, and drops himself into the chair adjacent to, rather than opposite, the space where Eren occupies. ]
