If only Finnick could have thought of the window-wiping analogy... It's perfect. But Levi seems to figure it out on his own, thankfully, so he doesn't feel too bad for being a shitty teacher.
He laughs softly.
"Yeah, don't actually do that please."
He observes Levi closely, and soon he's swimming enough that Finnick barely needs to hold him.
"That's great. You got it."
Barely touching him anyway, it's hardly even noticeable when he removes his hands, though he watches like a hawk for any sign of sinking, still at the ready to grab him if need be. But Levi stays afloat.
"Look at you. You're swimming. You're a fast learner, I'm impressed." He smiles at him, a satisfied grin.
