The little laugh makes Finnick smile wider, warmer. He continues to spin and sway slowly in the pool with Levi in his arms.

"About dolphins? Mm... They swim in groups called... Pods? That's what a group of whales is called, I think dolphins too maybe. They breathe like whales do, through a blowhole in the top of their head that they bring up to the surface periodically to take a breath. They're mammals, so they're warm-blooded unlike most fish, and birth live young rather than eggs. I heard once their frontal cortexes are bigger and more complex than humans' are, which suggests they're smart and also empathetic. I'll show you a picture sometime, they're cool."
