[Each time he goes to type a message, there's a new one from Levi. He should have expected this much concern, but somehow didn't. He answers the video call quickly, fumbling with the phone slightly with one hand, but showing his face. He looks very tired in the dim light, but otherwise okay.]

[He takes a deep breath, which is rewarded by a sharp pain in his ribs.]

I was on the beach earlier today-- or maybe yesterday, I don't know what time it is or how long I slept... And a dragon came down from the sky and basically used me as a chew toy. Sky showed up and attacked it, bound it with vines so we could get away. She healed me- saved me from bleeding out- and took me back to the castle. I'm in a sort of underground bunker here, recovering. I've still got a couple of broken bones she couldn't seem to heal for some reason.
