First; Anyone experienced with carpentry or building small structures, respond here. I have a small project for you if you're so inclined. We can work out a deal if necessary.
Second; If you expected to meet with me today or tomorrow, consider our plans cancelled unless you wish to suffer from an upper respiratory infection.

All Cadets: We'll be establishing a training schedule at the end of the week. Consider this some extra free time to become familiar with the area and check in with Erwin if you learn something that seems important.
Hange: This is your fault.
[action; Levi woke up this morning with the full force of a cold which is likely the direct result of being dragged into a fountain of cold water thanks to Hange when she first arrived (or so he assumes). He's hacking up a lung and generally crankier than usual and staying in bed for the next two days drinking tea and sleeping and probably not going to be the most pleasant person to interact with, so approach at your own risk.]

[She'll go shopping afterwards, anyway, but just in case. She'll move to take the glass of water from him, taking a moment to check the temperature of the tea still on the nigthstand. If that's cold or less than half full, she'll take that, as well.]
Did Commander make this for you?
no subject
[it's less than half full, still with a bit of warmth, though cooling. Levi opens his mouth to answer, but ends up coughing instead. He turns away from her until it's finished.]
fuck-- yeah, he did.
[will you make him more plz]
no subject
That's good of him. Do you want me to make the same kind?
[Simple questions, basic questions he can answer with a nod or a shake of his head. The less he talks, the better.]

[he wants a lot of tea right now, Petra. He also can't help talking, though sometimes just breathing seems to send him into fits of coughing. Levi takes a few more sips of the tea before putting it down and laying back. He moves between too warm and too cold. Right now, he feels quite warm, perspiration starting to stick to his skin.]

I started the kettle, it'll be ready soon. I'll start the soup soon, too.

He exhales, feeling congestion in his chest.]
Thankss...
[Levi turns a little, hand seeking out the water she'd brought.]

Do you need any more medicine? I can bring it in when I get the tea.
no subject
ss...yes...
no subject
Captain, you look tired. I'll leave you alone in a moment.
[She smiles at him, trying to be soothing. There wasn't any point in bothering him with questions, not when he was like this.]

[He trails off, not sure why he'd said her name. He'd had a reason a moment ago...what had that been?
Alone. Well, no, he doesn't really want to be alone. He's been left alone before because of his own stupid decisions, and then again through decisions he hadn't made. He's spent enough time alone.]
stay.
no subject
I'll have to go to the kitchen to get the tea when the kettle boils, but I'll come back when your tea is ready and stay with you until you fall asleep. Is that okay?
no subject
Fine...
no subject
I'll be back, I promise.
[She leaves quickly, not wanting to give him a chance to worry or protest. It doesn't take long to set up the tea, having set out everything when she was in the kitchen earlier. She moves briskly and efficiently, and she returns relatively quickly, carefully setting the cup of tea on the nightstand.]
It's still too hot to drink, but it'll be ready in a few minutes.
[Normally, she'd let it cool down before presenting it, but she doesn't want to leave him alone like this, not when he's already asked to to stay with him.]
no subject
Ever again.
But by the time he manages to be worried enough to cry out, she returns, and the strange feeling dissipates.
Everything seems hazier around her though, even moreso than before.]
Petra...tell Erd...he's in charge while I'm sick...
no subject
I'll be sure to tell him that, sir. [Petra's proud of herself for keeping her tone even, not choking on her words and putting on her bright expression again. She can only hope he drops the subject; she doesn't know how long she can play along, and it couldn't be good for his health if she reminded him, however gently, of what had happened in the forest.] Just focus on taking care of yourself, and we'll take care of everything else in the meanwhile, okay?
no subject
He closes his eyes, seemingly content, and seems to relax a little more.]
Thankss...
no subject
Of course, sir. I'll stay with you a little longer, but I'll find him in a bit.
[Her fingers clench in her lap, but she'll watch him closely, that content expression pulling at her heart. It wasn't often that she got to see this kind of face, and even if it meant talking about the others, she'd rather see him like this than the way he looked when he had called her name earlier.]
